Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province published the first batch list of Anhui Provincial Science and Technology-based SMEs for 2024. Three subsidiaries under our Group – Xuancheng Jingke, Tongling Jingke and Hefei Jingke – have been successfully shortlisted thanks to their outstanding performance in scientific and technological innovation. This honor not only recognizes Jingke Group’s innovation achievements but also affirms our R&D capabilities and development potential.
Scientific and technological innovation serves as the core engine driving corporate development. Guided by China’s innovation-driven development strategy, Jingke Group will keep increasing R&D investment, deepen cooperation with universities and research institutes, continuously optimize product mix and lift product competitiveness. We strive to grow into a leading enterprise in synthetic biology and make greater contributions to human health.
Founded in March 2017 and located in Huangjiaqiao Economic Development Zone, Jingde County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, Xuancheng Jingke Biotechnology Co., Ltd. functions as the Group’s fermentation base. With total investment exceeding RMB 35 million and a total site area of 18,450 square meters, it mainly produces pharmaceutical intermediates via fermentation processes. The company currently employs 70 staff members, including 20 R&D personnel among whom six hold master’s degrees or above. It has won numerous provincial and national honors such as National High-tech Enterprise, Anhui Provincial Enterprise Technology Center and Anhui Provincial Specialized, Refined, Differential & Innovative SME.
Established in December 2019 in Tongling Economic & Technological Development Zone, Anhui Province, Tongling Jingke Biotechnology Co., Ltd. covers around 70 mu with a total construction area of 25,000 square meters. It has a workforce of 92 employees, over 20 of whom are technical R&D specialists. Serving as the Group’s enzyme catalysis & chemical synthesis base, Tongling Jingke specializes in pharmaceutical intermediate manufacturing and runs a biotech production line for amoxicillin intermediates. Featuring mild reaction conditions, low pollution, limited energy consumption and short production workflows, the production technology holds fully independent intellectual property rights and has been granted national invention patents.
Set up in September 2023 in Hefei Economic & Technological Development Zone, Hefei Jingke Biotechnology Co., Ltd. takes charge of R&D for the Group’s new technologies and products and undertakes the mission of boosting technical capacity and recruiting top-tier talents. Its R&D team is backed by expert resources from prestigious universities including the University of Science and Technology of China. Equipped with complete R&D facilities, the company has 50 staff in total, 30 of whom are researchers. Adhering to the management philosophy of "Innovation & Efficiency", Hefei Jingke combines independent in-house R&D with joint collaborative development, pooling superior resources to build technical barriers and enrich technology reserves. Some of its product technologies have reached leading domestic standards in China.
