At 14:30 on the afternoon of June 23, the 2025 Work Safety Month comprehensive emergency drill officially kicked off at Xuancheng Jingke, with General Manager Gao Jianwei serving as on-site Chief Commander. Lü Xihui, Director of the Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau of Jingde Economic Development Zone, observed and guided the whole drill.

The drill simulated an actual accident scenario where methanol leakage in Workshop 2 triggered a fire. At 14:32, operator Chen Dongchun spotted a ruptured delivery pipeline causing methanol spillage, and static electricity ignited the leaked chemical. Team leader Shao Lizhi promptly reported to Workshop Director Yao Weidong and activated the workshop-level emergency response. As the fire escalated, Production Manager Cha Zhengjin led the emergency team to the scene and immediately reported to General Manager Gao Jianwei after confirming the blaze was out of local control.
At 14:35, General Manager Gao Jianwei announced the activation of the company-wide emergency plan and issued three core orders: reinforcement of the fire-fighting squad, full-site staff evacuation and external emergency assistance application. The evacuation team quickly took positions and guided employees to evacuate in order with wet towels covering their noses and mouths; the communication group immediately filed reports with competent authorities; the medical team administered bandaging for simulated casualties and conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation on critically injured mock patients.

After all personnel safely assembled at the designated gathering point, department heads submitted headcount reports one by one. A practical fire extinguisher operation drill followed, where employees worked in pairs to put out simulated fires. The environmental emergency team completed plugging, adsorption and recovery of leaked hazardous chemicals with standardized procedures throughout the whole operation.

Spanning 40 minutes, the drill attracted over 60 employees from six departments of Xuancheng Jingke. Featuring realistic accident setup, standardized response workflows and proper disposal solutions, the drill delivered outstanding cross-department coordination and fully achieved preset targets. In his remarks, Director Lü Xihui urged the enterprise to uphold the safety philosophy of "frequent routine drills guarantee effective emergency response amid accidents". In the concluding speech, General Manager Gao Jianwei pledged to implement Director Lü’s requirements strictly, organize regular emergency drills under diversified scenarios and comprehensively improve all staff’s safety literacy and on-site emergency handling capabilities.
